Hi,

Yes of course, you have to forget parameterizedBoxMatrix ! the regularMatrix is faster and safe, so use it !

On Thu, Jul 23, 2009 at 9:49 AM, Jan Mickelle V. Hello,

The error disappears when using regularMatrix, instead of
parameterizedBoxMatrix.

What's the difference in using regularMatrix and parametizedBoxMatrix?
Would it be okay if I will replace the:
/gate/SPECThead/daughters/insert parameterizedBoxMatrix
with,
/gate/SPECThead/daughters/insert regularMatrix?

yes it's ok. the difference between both is just in the code itself, there is no difference for the user, except the execution time.

but I am questioning myself about why do you use a voxelized matrix as a daughter of your specthead ?
if you can use analytical description of your crystals and other, you have to, it will be much faster.

Cheers,
Simon
