Department of Nuclear Medicine, State University of New York at Buffalo is
seeking candidates for a post-doctoral fellow position in imaging physics. <o:p></o:p></span></p>

successful applicant is expected to contribute primarily to the development of
a dual function SPECT/PET system. He or she will also be encouraged to
participate in ongoing research projects such as quantitative PET/CT imaging
and PET system modeling, and to explore new research directions of his or her

a PhD degree either in medical physics, physics, biomedical engineering, or a
discipline closely related to medical imaging. Excellent programming skill with
at least one computer language (C/C++/IDL/Matlab) is required. Previous
experiences in nuclear medicine, SPECT or PET image reconstruction, Monte Carlo
or numerical simulation of imaging systems are preferred. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
