Hello All,    I've recently acquired 6 identical windows machines. It has windows on it right now and I am planning to install Linux and turn this to a cluster. I hope someone here has done this already. Here are a few questions I have: 1) What flavour of HPC software does this group recommend? A google search takes me to rocks (<a href="http://www.rocksclusters.org">http://www.rocksclusters.org</a>), beowulf (<a href="http://www.beowulf.org/">http://www.beowulf.org/</a>) and several others.     Reading through their requirements, I seem to satisfy all hardware requirements. 2) How does one install GATE (and its dependancies) on a cluster? Preface to this question should be this: I am aware of the installation manual for GATE and I have installed it successfully on a single computer. Do I install it on the master node?   As you can make out from the nature of the questions, I am a novice to building my own cluster. I would appreciate any help on the topic. Thanks. Karthik.
