Subject: [Gate-users] single position

Hi Gate-users,

I have a question concerning the exact position of a measured single in
a PET-Scanner (Ecat system).
In reality, one block detector is connected with 2x2 photomultiplier
tubes (PMT).
The exact position of the measured photon within the 8x8-crystal array
of the block detector is
determined by the light yield of the different 4 PMTs.
Is it possible, to simulate this positioning of hit crystal in GATE
(with a special module) ???

The Readout module chose always the crystal with maximum energy
deposited (winner-takes-all),
if I get it right...

Does anyone have an idea how to simulate this?
Or is it out of range of GATE?

Soeren.
