Hi Frank,

I think that in public domain, there is only STIR that is available. Yes it is outdates but still in use and there is no newer packages. I personnaly don't use STIR but I think it is well documented.

Good luck,
Simon

2007/12/11, Frank W. Meisel <frank.meisel@unine.ch>:

Hello dear Gate-Users,

i am just about to start programming with GATE,
so it would be nice if I can get a little little help from you :-)

I compiled gate and ran the examples succesfully and have a root output
file in the typical gate format.

But which Software for reconstructing the images can I use??
I recently heard of STIR , but this seems to be outdated?
Is this package still in use? Or are there any newer ones?

(In my case, i want to simulate the difference between a reconstruction
with time-of-flight measurement info and without.)

So thanks for any hints which could help,
best regards,

Frank
_______________________________________________
