Hi Guifen,

I ran your macro, with a point source at (0.,0.,0.), and the sinogram
for the prompts (data=0) looks correct (straightline). See attachement.
You should have a problem with your Gate installation.
I send you the macro which a point source is at (0,0,0).Could you tell
me whether the file "yourSinogram.S" is the same as mine.Does the
reconstructing image show the horseshoe shape?Could you send the
results(such as image).Thinks for your help!
Guifen,

the sinogram you sent me is not correct and shows the horseshoe shape.
It does not correspond to the sinogram I obtained when I ran your
macro. In the macro you sent me, the source was NOT at the center !!!
and the shape was a regular sinus curve.

Hi,Claude

Sorry I am bothering you again. For a point source at
(0,0,0),does you produce some 2D sinograms with a straight line in the
centra of the sinogram and without shifted to the left and right? Does
your reconstructing image is a point without showing <font

I did not use ifheaders_for_ecat7. I used an ecat7 dedicated
software developped by the University of Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium,
(iv_volumetool) to display directly the ecat7 sinogram file generated by
GATE. As far as GATE is concerned, there is no problem with your macro
and the ecat7 sinogram file is correct.
